Day 1 — Volos → Trikeri Island (16 NM)

Begin your adventure in Volos, a charming Greek port city framed by Mount Pelion. The seaside promenade is dotted with family-run tavernas, interesting museums, and attractive architecture — a perfect place to start your sailing trip. From here, set sail 16 NM to Trikeri Island, a peaceful spot with clear waters and pine forests. This quiet bay is ideal for anchoring overnight and unwinding after your first day on the water.

Day 2 — Trikeri Island → Skiathos (30 NM)

Sail to Skiathos, reaching the island in about 6 hours. The southern beaches, especially Koukounaries, are known for their golden sands and lively beach scene. Navigation is generally safe, except at Troulos.

During 15/07–15/09, aim to arrive at the port of Skiathos before 18:00 to secure a mooring; otherwise anchoring is possible, taking care to avoid the airport flight path. The port offers water, electricity, fuel, shopping, and plenty of restaurants and bars. For a swim or short trip, visit Tsougria, keeping clear of reefs near the shore.

Day 3 — Skiathos → Tzortzi Bay (Alonissos) (24 NM)

Today you’ll navigate about 24 NM to Tzortzi Bay on Alonissos. This stretch brings you into a bay known for its pristine, white-pebble shoreline. There’s a taverna nearby where you can relax on land, enjoy the sunshine, and refresh with a leisurely lunch before returning to your boat to continue the journey.

Day 4 — Tzortzi Bay (Alonissos) → Kira Panagia Island (13 NM)

Sailing 13 NM from Tzortzi Bay, you’ll reach Kira Panagia Island — a serene, largely uninhabited isle. This destination offers tranquil beaches and scenic rocky surroundings. A short walk reveals a traditional church with classic architecture, and the calm anchorage here makes for a restful overnight stay.

Day 5 — Kira Panagia Island → Skopelos (30 NM)

Continue your voyage with a longer sail of around 30 NM to Skopelos — one of the largest and most vibrant islands in the Northern Sporades. Skopelos boasts winding streets, abundant local cuisine, and a relaxed island vibe. Its rich history and cultural character make it a highlight of this sailing route.

Day 6 — Skopelos → Agia Kiriaki (30 NM)

Depart Skopelos and sail 30 NM back toward the Pelion Peninsula to Agia Kiriaki, located at the southernmost tip. This small town has a modest quay and a scenic promenade with a handful of restaurants and taverns to explore. Nestled into a quieter corner of the coastline, Agia Kiriaki offers calm waters and peaceful beaches — a lovely place to enjoy your final night before returning to Volos.

Day 7 — Agia Kiriaki → Volos (21 NM)

On the last day, sail 21 NM back to Volos on the mainland to conclude your week of sailing. Once you arrive in port, you can complete your final boat checks and prepare for check-out after a memorable week at sea. If your departure isn’t until later, take some time to explore Volos — stroll the harbor, visit archaeological sites like Sesklo or Dimini, hike a trail on Mount Pelion, or relax on Alikes beach before heading home.
